Throughout her 20-year career as an educator, Mrs. Sancen has served students and families in a variety of impactful roles - from teacher assistant and substitute teacher to instructional coach, assistant principal, and, most recently, LAN Dean of Literacy.
She returns to the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard as principal - a role that is especially meaningful, as the campus has long been part of her family's story. Her mother served the school community for 25 years, and Mrs. Sancen is the proud parent of a Mitchell scholar.
Grounded in the values of hard work, perseverance, and service, Mrs. Sancen is committed to supporting students, staff, and families while continuing Mitchell's tradition of excellence.
Mrs. Nall is a 2006 graduate of West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas. She started her teaching career in 2007, she taught for nine years in first, second, and third grade. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with her Master's Degree in 2016. Mrs. Nall was an instructional coach for three years, two of those years were very happily spent at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard.
In 2019 she was named as the Assistant Principal of the campus. She is very proud and honored to serve the scholars and community of Mitchell Boulevard. She believes that everyone has a right to a great education and that education is the key to a successful life.
